To Whom it may concern;
My wife and I recently completed construction on our beautiful new home in Mesa, AZ. Jason Lofgreen of Encore Design was the architect on our project. I'm pleased to recommend Jason's services to anyone building a luxury home.

When I first met with Jason, I told him that I had been involved in the design and construction of a number of multi-million-dollar projects, but that I had no experience building a luxury home. I already had a lot of ideas, even a preliminary floor plan, and I wanted an architect who would treat me like a partner in the process. Jason lived up to that expectation very well.

Jason navigated us through a number of challenges. At the start of the project, we had not selected a lot. The lot that we eventually purchased was too narrow for the original floor plan, so Jason did a new, narrower design. He managed to keep the features we wanted, take advantage of the property's view opportunities, and fit it onto the narrower lot.

After we had a "final" design, we put the project out for bids. This design had a walk-out lower level, and through no fault of Jason's, this feature turned out to be an expensive luxury that added little value to the finished home. Jason and I set out to redesign the home with the challenge of moving a theater, an exercise room, a guest bedroom suite and even a wine cellar to the main level with as little change to the original concept as possible. This seemed like an impossible task, but Jason accepted the challenge and we were able to accomplish our goals, ending up with a beautiful, single-level home.

Both the city and the HOA have myriad regulations and design requirements, and Jason was knowledgeable about all of them. When we applied for our permits, we had virtually no problem with either of the authorities.

Over the years, I have worked with half-dozen architects. Of all of them, Jason Lofgreen exhibited the best combination of knowledge, creativity and communication skills. Even though he had several projects going at once, he always made me feel like I was his only client. I enthusiastically recommend him to anyone in need of an architect.
